The playing rules of Bloons Tower Defense

Bloons Tower Defense invites you to join the challenges of destroying balloons. You must buy and place the weapons in suitable positions to clear all balloons.

Eliminate the balloons

Your mission in this game is very simple because you are tasked with eliminating all balloons along the way. Let's move the weapons from the right and place them along the way. These weapons will automatically destroy the nearby balloons. Removing a balloon will help you earn one dollar. Do your best to pop as many balloons as possible to earn as much money as you can. Note that you should not let any balloon reach the end of the path if you do not want to lose soon.

Unlock new weapons

After earning a lot of money, you should try to buy new weapons in the store. There are a total of 18 weapons in this game. Here are some dominant weapons you can unlock.

Dart Monkey: The monkey will shoot a single dart that pops a single balloon.
Tack Shooter: It is able to shoot a volley of tacks in 8 directions. Although this shooter has a short range, it is good for thinning out balloons at intersections and corners.
Boomerang Thrower: He can throw a boomerang that follows a curved path back to the thrower. This thrower can pop multiple balloons at once.
Dartling Gun: You can use this gun to shoot down balloons. Note that this gun is able to shoot darts super fast but not very accurately.
Spike Factory: This weapon is able to generate piles of road spikes around the track automatically. If the balloons touch these spikes, they will explode.
Bomb Tower: This tower can launch a bomb to destroy many balloons at once.

Various tracks in Bloons Tower Defense

At the start of the game, you are allowed to select between 9 tracks. If you are a new player, you should choose 3 beginner tracks first. Then, challenge yourself with intermediate, advanced, and expert tracks. These tracks are shorter, so the balloons can reach the end of the tracks faster. Strategically place the weapons to stop all balloons along the way.
